Posting Guidelines

Do's

  • Search before posting to avoid duplicates
  • Use clear, descriptive titles for threads
  • Post in the appropriate category
  • Provide context and details when asking questions
  • Use code formatting for technical examples
  • Mark solutions when your question is answered
  • Give credit when sharing others' solutions

Don'ts

  • Don't post spam or promotional content without permission
  • Don't share confidential or proprietary information
  • Don't use offensive language or engage in personal attacks
  • Don't post off-topic or unrelated content
  • Don't impersonate others or create fake accounts
  • Don't cross-post the same content in multiple categories

Security and Privacy

Never share: Passwords, API keys, member data, SSNs, account numbers, or any other confidential information.

When discussing technical issues or sharing code examples:

  • Remove all sensitive data before posting
  • Use placeholder values for demonstrations
  • Anonymize credit union names and member information
  • Follow your organization's policies on information sharing
  • Report any accidentally posted sensitive information immediately

Enforcement

Our moderation team works to maintain community standards. Violations may result in:

First-time or minor violations receive a written warning

Repeated violations may result in temporary account suspension

Permanent Ban

Severe or continued violations result in permanent account termination
